Classes

Equipment Class

The beauty of reformer pilates is that it truly is for everybody with modifications for everyone. It is a full body workout that feels both challenging and therapeutic at the same time. There is a strong focus on biomechanics and proper body alignment. Everyone from athletes, to those who have sustained physical injury can benefit from reformer pilates.

Mat Class

Mat Pilates is mind body practice with benefits that include improved posture, better coordination and balance, increased body awareness, and injury prevention. Mat work is a great option for everyone from beginners to advanced students because the exercises build in difficulty, and can be modified to increase or decrease challenge.

Barre Class

Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, pilates, and yoga. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can. It also improves posture and endurance at the same time. No dance experience necessary.

Semi Private instruction has a lot of the same benefits as Private instruction. There is more attention from the instructor, a more tailored workout, and less intimidating than a group class. The main difference is getting to work out with a friend, and if the cost is split this is a more cost effective option.

Semi-Private Instruction

Private Instruction

Private instruction has all the same benefits as group reformer plus more. Instruction is more individualized. The workout is tailored specifically to what each body needs, since every body is different. More attention is given from the instructor, who can help insure each exercise is performed correctly. Private sessions can be less intimidating than working in a group, and are a great option for those working back from an injury.
